Applied the position online, recruiter came back to me in two weeks and I get an one on one phone interview with department director.The process was great but I didn't get the job in the end, I should prepare more about the project design and deliver fluently

Riot knows exactly what they are looking for. The interview process was tough but I think my nerves got the best of me. They really grill you on questions about your experience and how you approach specific challenges. Although I knew I'd fit into the culture very well, that isn't the only thing they look for. I see a lot of people talk about how that is a huge factor to the hiring process, which i don't doubt. But really, they do care a lot about if you are the right person for the job. All in all, they want the best of the best and they didn't see it through the second phone interview. They did follow through with an email on what I could do better in terms of my analytical reasoning and told me to reapply in 6 months. That was awesome! That email definitely gave me a huge boost of confidence because I knew I fit the job description very well, I just had a hard time communicating my ideas over the phone.
