I was contacted by recruiter the same day I applied on line. He scheduled an interview next day with three local sales managers. When I arrived, no one knew why I was there. I waited about 30 minutes for the first one to be available to speak with me. The third one was out of town altogether.

How old I was and what were my hobbies. No professional questions were asked.
I received a job offer after 3 rounds of interviews ~ only to be rescinded due to company budget cuts and internal reorg. This speaks volumes of the lack of transparency and disorganization that reflects poorly on upper management. What's worse is that they reposted the same role just 3 months after, and I didn't get called back to get my old job offer back. When I called the AVP who's the hiring manager, he didn't take any responsibility for the rescinded job offer and didn't even apologize.
Having a job offer rescinded due to company budget cuts is already horrible enough and is a poor reflection on the company, but having the AVP not taking full responsibility or accountability for it is an underlying sign of a toxic work culture. They clearly have wasted my time.
