Interview had been booked for a bank holiday - I tried to reconfirm the week before with the organiser, but did not receive a response to my email. I still showed up (on a bank holiday) for the interview, only for the recruitment partner not to show, terrible!

The interview consisted of a presentation where I had to talk through data that I was provided with. The remainder of the interview was around my experience and some competency based questions. Prior to the interview, I was really nervous due to the negative interview reviews. However, the hiring manager and the other area director were great. Of course there were some direct questions, but they were fair. After the interview, the hiring manager rang me herself and gave me some really positive and constructive feedback. Although I didn’t get the role, it was a really good interview experience.
