The process was comprehensive and multi-pronged, comprising a test of cognitive abilities, interviews with a recruiter and the hiring manager, a case interview with a top manager followed by a values interview. Each stage presented the chance to showcase a different skillset and gave me valuable insight into what working at Revolut would entail. I received feedback that I had performed 'excellent' at all stages, which made the experience encouraging and confidence-boosting. However, I was disappointed to receive a refusal at the very end of the process, after two months of participation in the process. The reason provided was that another candidate had completed their process quicker. This was disheartening as it seemed my performance was not the deciding factor. I understand that sometimes hiring decisions are time-sensitive, but it might be beneficial to communicate such potential scenarios upfront. Future candidates might appreciate knowing that even excellent performance might be superseded by procedural speed.
