      1. They reject you. No, really, they just will reject you and then gracefully say how they can actually hire you for a different position. 2. HR screening. The person I spoke with was clearly uninterested in what I had to say and was just going through a form without actually following up on my points. 3. Talk with a designer. General design skills interview, the person I spoke to didn't really know what to ask about, and was strangely hostile. Couldn't actually respond to any of my questions in any depth. 4. Design task. Yes, a design task in 2025, didn't think people were still doing these. You need to spend up to 5 days of your own free time creating some flow. The document barely describes what the goal of this is, but the funniest part is that the task itself has nothing to do with Revolut. It's literally just some random prompts like "design a coffee-brewing app" or "design a hotel management app." LIKE WHAT?? And of course, you don't get remunerated for doing this. If someone's recruiting for a Senior/Lead position, telling them just to do a design task like a Junior is just a complete disrespect of their time and honestly baffling, considering there are tons of actual, real projects we can just go through to determine any skills. Then the feedback is just amazing – literally AI-generated slop copy-pasted from ChatGPT verbatim. The task deliverables are evaluated as if they're an actual, real breathing thing rather than just a fun exercise… as if I don't have a day job, other recruitment processes, and can spend hours and hours of my own free time on this. And yes, they expect you to design several UI flows (plural), meaning it can be 20+ completely separate designs you need to waste your life on. Also, feedback for Revolut – maybe explain what I'm even applying for? Throughout the process, the team I'd be joining was not explained in the slightest, I wasn't given a clear position I'd be joining, I wasn't given the salary brackets, literally nothing was explained. Just go through the process, wasting DAYS of your life hoping for the best. A joke of a recruitment process, hilariously unprofessional, and ridiculously outdated.

      They have it on their website - 6 rounds total. Only got to the second round with a design manager where you can share 1-2 case studies. The first round is just a screener with the recruiter.

      The process was disorganized and, honestly, disappointing for a company of Revolut's reputation. In early conversations I was told the role would be shaped around my skills — most likely something in the loyalty space — and that there wasn't a fixed position so much as a fit to be defined. Later I received a rejection message stating there was actually "a clear role" all along, which contradicted what I'd been told and meant I was effectively assessed against criteria I was never made aware of. What frustrated me most was that since the recruiter approached me (rather than me applying to a defined posting), I had no way to understand what they were looking for or to prepare and demonstrate the relevant strengths. Being rejected on those terms felt unfair. Communication was also poor. After the rejection I followed up by email to ask for clarity, and two weeks passed with no reply at all. I eventually had to chase a response through a separate channel. Advice to Management If recruiters are going to reach out to candidates personally, there should be a clear, consistent picture of the role and expectations from the start, and basic follow-up on candidate emails. Approaching someone proactively and then rejecting them against undisclosed criteria — with no response to their questions — leaves a VERY bad impression.

      Take a long interview process from general recruiter to head of product designer and still waiting for the result, but the process is enjoyable and not too complex and can catchup it even long process
