Only take the offer if you are 100% sure this is the perfect fit for you.
Applied online, a couple of weeks later I get a phone call, I get transferred to a tech worker that asks about my education experience, and what languages I know. They ask if you are okay with relocating if you say no that will be the end, but if you say yes then they will schedule a technical interview.
I had my technical interview the next day and it was about 7 minutes long, they asked basic questions of OOP. They also asked about SQL, HTML, and CSS, but I don't have much experience in any of those so I responded that I'm not an expert in those languages which made the interview very short.
The same day I got a call back with an offer to join Revature and just like that I had to sign a contract and my caller stayed on the line until I signed it. I wanted to take more time to think about it, but she said I can always revoke until the day of my training and if I wait I might lose my first choice location for my training.
I decided to decline because relocation is very costly with only given $500 to move across the country in 2 weeks. In addition, you have to wear formal business attire every day of training and use my own laptop for the training. How am I supposed to afford to dress impeccably and overwork myself with training while only getting paid minimum wage? It's just not practical and the reason I majored in Computer Science was definitely to dress comfortably. Think really thoroughly if this is the perfect fit for you because otherwise, you might be quite miserable for your next 2 years.
It was really astonishing how I only took an interview less than 10 minutes and got an offer. They couldn't provide a training syllabus when I asked about it and I know on their company website they offer free classes. I felt that the training they provide I could learn myself in my free time and develop my own projects with a little self-discipline.

Completed unpaid training program successfully and was placed on a waitlist for payed training. The unpaid program focused on full stack Java development and lasted for around 3 months. The final exam was based on the topics and assesments covered in the program.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Are you willing to relocate to any city within the US?
First an aptitude test which was majorly mcqs, quite easy for people with a computer science background but they also allow candidates with non cs to join so it might be the reason. Then you can take part with their unpaid training which they teach in depth over basics upto creating API for backend using Spring and Java then you get enrolled for their paid program waitlist where they contact you if they have a client that fits with you.
It was good. Interviewer asked me questions based on oops, threads, exception handling, SQL . I was interviewed for 25 minutes and all the questions are answerable and at a level of basic to intermediate.
She also asked me a query approach in SQL and also execute a code.
