The first phone interview was fine and then they offered me a technical screening a week after. The technical screening was nothing I thought it would be. The interviewer muted her camera so I could not see her at all and it felt more like an exam in a classroom rather a technical interview. I was asked around 30+ questions ranging from database knowledge to overall programming knowledge. It threw me off quite a bit because she didn't talk much except for 'next question' or saying the question itself. I felt that she just read off a paper all questions to see if I can answer them all rather than trying to see my aptitude for programming. The recruiter told me before he would call the day of to tell me the news but he never called and sent me an email the next day saying I didn't pass the technical interview. It's odd because most people who have been interviewed from them have said they had less questions and that they were much more lenient. I wasn't expecting a hand out by any means but I also wasn't expecting such a grueling process.
