Overall a very shoddy interview process. I was told after the initial phone screen that I would be receiving a technical take-home test which I never received. Suddenly after weeks of no communication, I received an invitation onsite where I was supposed to be interviewed by 3 people. On the day of the onsite, only one person showed up in person and another via video call, the third person dropped out. The interview was only one hour long(even though they informed me it would be longer) and it was badly structured. The interviewers did a poor job communicating what they wanted from me and it was a very one-sided conversation(my side). If they had no interest in interviewing me, they should have communicated this to me earlier and saved us both some time.

Highly unprofessional to ghost a candidate after nearly 2 months and multiple rounds of interviews.
Short interview with human resources
Short interview with hiring manager
Practice Problem, using Python to analyze dataset (csv file) and create a PowerPoint with findings
Final interview with whole team, presenting the PowerPoint and answering questions for potential teammates

1. HR phone screening. Scheduled next round right way.
2. HM phone screening. 60-min. Asked about background and experience, basic data analysis steps, how to handle outliers, etc.
3. Take-home data assignment. The assignment, store traversal data analysis, is just like what they do on a daily basis, but smaller dataset.
4. Assignment presentation with the team.
Their HR team is based in South Africa, which makes the communication a little bit ineffective imo. Recruiter was nice at the beginning, but didn't keep her promise and ghosted me in the end.
