Application via Stack Overflow jobs, initial conversation via internet video, technical interview via internet video, code challenge (about 12 man-hours to do "right", reasonable), follow-up conversation via Internet video, final "gauntlet" style interviews via internet video. This application was for a position in Berlin, I was based in Virginia, US. There was no onsite before the job offer was extended.

Respectful and transparent communication. I am hoping to make it to the next round. The company was clear on its role and expectations. I found the HR to be very polite and helpful.

They took quite a while to come back after the coding test.
Although HR was flexible to have interview online instead of onsite on my request.
I couldn't answer first of interviewers css based questions and because of my luck internet connection was bad, interviewer decided to reschedule the interview.
HR came back to me next week saying he has rejected me already just based on first couple of CSS questions.
