I attended the Open House here in San Antonio, TX at Four Points by Sheraton last 23rd of September 2014. At first, We all signed in at the registration and being asked where we came from, if we drove or flown to San Antonio. Republic Airways introduced the company history, work description, salary, benefits, crew scheduling and domiciles. We were given an application form to fill up while waiting for our names to be called for F2F.
We were called in groups but interviewed individually. Recruiters are very friendly and accommodating, for you not get nervous and can easily explain yourself with all the questions. Such as Why do you want to work for Republic Airways? Are you willing to work in holidays, etc? Can you be able to relocate in your expense?
After the F2F, you will be informed that they will email you the result if you make it or not. It took 2 weeks after they got back at me. I received an email telling that I passed the initial interview and in seconds i received another email which is the personality test. (Tip: be true to yourself and answer the question to be best of your knowledge and be patient as the questions are too long)
After 4 weeks of waiting, thinking that I did not make it. Talent Acquisition team called me, "CONGRATULATIONS, YOU HAVE BEEN SELECTED TO ATTEND THE TRAINING ON NOVEMBER 24 IN INDIANAPOLIS, IN"
After we have talked and discussed my availability, I received the Initial Training Study guide and offer letter.
On that day, I immediately filed my resignation and now I'm memorizing the airport codes, evacuation commands and airport terminologies.

Be yourself and answer the question from your heart.
Watched a video explaining the role and company values. Then, there was an opportunity to practice recording. Make sure you look into the camera, and not at yourself! Most of the questions you are only allowed to record once. The question is presented, and you are giving 1-2 minutes to prepare your response.

Virtual recorded responses. About six questions, the question appeared on the screen, there's a countdown, then you must record your response. Some questions we're a timed for one minute with one minute to respond. Some allowed more time to respond.

One-way video interview—2 minutes prep time for each question, 2 minutes allowed for each response, no retakes. There was an 11-minute intro video that discussed the company's background, mission, culture statement, scheduling, and pay expectations. This was followed by a 2.5-minute tutorial on how to record and submit responses. There was also an opportunity to do a practice recording before beginning, so that was helpful. It was very awkward to talk directly to the camera without a person there, so be prepared for that, but it was good practice and a learning experience if nothing else. I recommend recording yourself responding to interview questions before sitting down to do the interview.
