Only interviewed over the phone. They like to hire new teachers that are naive and aren't going to notice the red flags. The first red flag should have been that they hired me during the phone interview.
Of course we hired during a Microsoft Teams interview: IT WAS COVID and schools in Washington State were closed and face to face interactions were not permitted. Teaching remotely was a challenging time for everyone.
