It started with a take home test, once I passed they moved forward to CS team members interview. It was pretty straight forward and they seemed happy with my background and answers. They moved me forward to meeting CS manager, however he was on leave so they replaced the interview with CS team leader. The CS team leader had to push the interview time further into different day and did not explain much. During the interview, I believe I did well and he sounded satisfied with my answer and told me will get back to me end of the week or earlier next week. However, I was hopeful and patiently waiting but heard no news for a whole week! I then wrote to follow up multiple times. In the end, the recruiter told me I was not chosen. I was honestly disappointed and wrote them to write a honest feedback as I would like to see where I can improve and get better for my next interview and they honestly just ghosted me without any explanation. I was putting so much effort and hope into this interview, and the least they could do was write me whether I was chosen or not after the 2nd interview, but instead they just left me waiting and no explanation! The recruitment and CS team could done better.

Entretien
I was sent a significant home assignment as the initial step, which consumed several days of my time and effort. It was only after completing this assignment that I had my first interview with the team leader, and regrettably, we didn't seem to click.
After the interview, I received a generic rejection letter. It's disheartening to realize that I spent several days on their assignment in vain, when it seems that having an interview with the manager first could have saved me the time and efforts I spent on their assignment.
Furthermore, it strongly suggests that the company might be benefiting from my assignment work without extending me an offer.
This experience left me with a profound sense of being exploited and undervalued.
