Shortly after, I received a scheduling link for the next interview. The participant listed was different from the person I had been told I’d meet, so I reached out to confirm. Unfortunately, I did not receive a reply until after several follow-ups. 3. Hiring Manager interview: The conversation felt quite structured and didn’t leave much room for deeper discussion. Before the interview, I noticed that a new location restriction had been added to the application form that was not present when I initially applied. When I asked about this, I learned that the team was seeking a skill set that hadn’t been clearly outlined earlier in the process. The process felt disorganized and lacked clear communication at several points, which made it difficult to feel confident about continuing. Transparency and communication are highlighted as company values, but I didn’t experience that consistency throughout the interview journey. While everyone I spoke with was polite, the coordination and follow-up could be improved to reflect the company’s stated values and respect for candidates’ time.
