I had already worked before being promoted to Assistant Manager. From what I remember, the interview was basic. Not many questions--there was a very high turnover rate so I think if your references checked out and you got a call, you were pretty much hired. The interview consisted mainly of filling out paperwork (tax forms, employment forms and waivers, non-discrimination, things like that) while she told me about the job. She did say she had to start me out a minimum wage, but this was just a part-time job, and I was in school still so that was fine with me. She went ahead and put me on the schedule to "train" although you kind of just learn things on your own.
