J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Ree Technology (Berlin) en mars 2020
Entretien
I spoke with the recruiter at REE a few months ago. She was late to the call and also seemed disengaged. It was almost like "prove your worth tone" rather than a discovery call. I chose not to move forward to the next round.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Standard call - asked about my previous work, languages I use etc
J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Ree Technology en janv. 2020
Entretien
- apply online
- hr interview with recruiter
- technical phone screen
- technical test
I wrote them two weeks after applying online to get the actual interview process going (it wasn't clear if the recruiter actually worked for the company full time or not).
Scheduling and doing the first two interviews took a month. Test was one week and I received a decision three weeks after sending a solution.
I made clear what kind of experience level I had (<5 years) in both my CV as well as in the phone screening, and was given the impression that this was not a problem. I wish I had known that my test solution was going to be evaluated nonetheless for the senior-level they want (reason for rejection was my experience level) because it would have influenced whether or not I would have invested time in the technical test.

Question 1
Describe how a weak pointer works.
Explain a project you worked on before.
The technical test was very time-consuming, so be prepared and make room in your schedule for it. This may be different if you are very familiar with the specific platforms and frameworks they use.
