Entretien
I applied online and received an email from a recruiter requesting a 30 minute phone screen. I email my availability for the phone screen to (which I had to input via a calendly link).
The day and time of the phone screen comes and I do not receive a call. I wait about 5-15 minutes before emailing the recruiter to ask if the phone screening would still take place. She emails back a few minutes later saying that she tried to ring but it didn't go through and for us to arrange the screening call for another day. I reply with my availability and she does not get back to me. She also does not call on the date and time that the call was rescheduled for.
It was very obvious that they had interviewed and extended the role to someone else or that they perhaps never intended to hire somebody for the role in the first place. It would have been nice to have some transparency about the interviewing process/ for it to have been communicated that the role was filled. I will probably avoid applying again.
