      Entretien pour Business Coach

      27 juin 2016
      Candidat à l'entretien anonyme
      Cape Town
      Aucune offre
      Expérience négative
      Entretien facile

      Candidature

J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Raizcorp (Cape Town) en juil. 2015

      Entretien

Two telephone interviews, subsequent multi person telephonic interviews, and psychometric testing. The first interview was conducted by a recruitment agency. The next interview was done by the chief of personnel, and then subsequently, it was followed up by a panel interview with the chief of personnel, as well as marketing and general management. Thereafter I was requested to do psychometric tests, which took 17 minutes to complete. During the interviews, I was informed that I was one of the very best interviewees they had ever come across, and I was informed that on some of the critical questions I gave the best answer they had ever received. After the psychometric test, which entailed 17 minutes worth of verbal questions, no calculations, just personal questions evidently posed to find out if I am tenacious and believe that any outcome in life depends purely on your own effort, I was informed I was not a suitable applicant. It seems that they are unaware of huge body of work that shows that success in life is dependent on many factors, including whether your superiors like you, etc.etc. and that strictly speaking, it is untrue that anybody can be anything they want to be and that anyone can succeed at anything if they really try hard. I would suggest that anyone interviewed do a basic search on google for what personality traits are business coaching interviews looking for, and that you just give these people the few stupid answers they want to hear. I made the mistake of being extremely honest, a bad approach for a cookie cutter psych test.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

An Black Empowerment Candidate received finance for a business venture. As Coach, you have to coach him through his time as start-up entrepreneur. During the first few meetings, it seems that the client is uncooperative, and bland; having difficulty responding to questions, and not coming forward with the tenacity and enthusiasm expected from the same. Get into his mind, and give an explanation of why he might be "morose" and why he is not responding in kind.
