HR makes a phone to ask about salary expectation and then schedule a call. Total 4 rounds . Frist round to check if knowledge on cloud / AWS. Second round detailed technical questions. Interview has list of questions. 3rd Round is solution presentation round . The presentation should cover About me , Why Rackspace , 30-60-90 days plans and Solution presentation . 4th Round is about salary etc. All rounds were cleared. in 4th round Rackspace manager started saying they do not have budget . They were asking me to join for lower salary . Although I have clearly told HR about salary expectation , the unit head did not have budget . He also said they did not have office in Bangalore as they could not afford office at this stage. It is mostly WFH and from Co-work shared office space. It sounded like Rackspace do not have enough large projects to offer market rate salary , get an office space. The Unit head sounded alarms about job security . Below market rate salary with Job security concerns is a bad choice. So rejected the Offer . It is not worth spending time on 4 rounds of interview , creating a presentation and finally to hear that they don't have budget .
