I applied through LinkedIn for SRE/Observability. First was the HR screening interview which was pretty normal talked about the position and the process. The second was a Technical interview, It was more of a Q&A not a discussion(red flag for me) at all, First part was about observability which was pretty general and easy but they were more interested more in the tooling instead of Concepts which is normal for a consulting company. The second part was about devops and cloud architect in general, It was pretty bad, It seems like the interview was not planned at all, The interviewer asked me a troubleshooting question and when I asked him a question regarding the scenario he could not reply and changed the question. The questions were more Solution(Cloud) architect type not SRE which is also a red flag and it seems like the interviewer does not know what a SRE is. When It is my turn to ask the questions, I did not get any useful information, his reply was always "depends on the client/project". I really suggest they change the title of the position from SRE to Cloud or Solution architect as the position was not SRE at all
