      Candidature

J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris plus d'une semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Rackspace Technology (New Delhi) en janv. 2021

      Entretien

First HR by name Varsha call'd me and scheduled the interview multiple times and cancelled it and finally she scheduled the interview and gave some questions and asked me to prepare on these. When technical round started they asked me the same question which hr gave, I answered each and every question, but still I got rejected. Please don't waste your time and move on if you get a interview call for this company.

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Rackspace Technology (San Antonio, TX) en mars 2016

      Entretien

I applied online, couple days later received an email. The process was as follows 1. Video Interview 2. Phone screen 3. Interview at Rackspace 4. Offered Job The interview itself took about 3 hours, there were two parts, each part was done by 3 individuals, then they would switch. (Total of 6, was actually 5, someone from the first stayed behind for the second). The first part was pretty straight forward, customer service based, how you would handle certain situations, personality based questions, etc.. the second was the technical interview which was pretty hard. A majority of my responses to the technical questions were "I don't know" or "I'm not certain". Some were really easy, some weren't. After the interview I got a call 2 days later with an offer. Interviewers were extremely friendly and welcoming. There was some miscommunication, the first interviewer arrived 15 minutes late, the second 30 minutes late, and the 3rd 45 minutes late. That aside, the whole process was pretty smooth and went well. For this position I believe they're looking more for the "person" than the knowledge. Its okay if you don't know everything, so long as you're willing and you are teachable, it should be fine.

      Questions d'entretien [4]

      Question 1

First portion of the interview was mostly customer service based, the second portion was tech, lots of stuff about connecting two computers, things related to TCP and UDP, Computer Diagnostics, Partitions, command line/prompt, a couple hardware questions, some stuff on the Cloud Hosting.

      Question 3

What does the symbol on my shirt stand for?
      Répondre à cette question

      Question 4

A lot of terrible misfortune questions, along the lines of "a cable is unplugged and all of the customers information/accounts have been deleted with no chance of recovery, how do you proceed?" There were several of those types of questions.

      Entretien

Lengthy, confusing and consisted of multiple phone and in-person sessions. There was a phone interview asking basic technical questions, then an in-person interview with more in-depth questions, and finally a second in-person interview with members of the team I would be working with.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

Very difficult technical questions, although they were more interested in how you reached your conclusion than it being technically accurate. There were lots of "Tell me a time when you..." type questions.
