Software engineering interviews was not as technical as I am used to them being. In many interviews for other companies, there were much more difficult coding scenarios drawn up for me to work through. Much more of the interview focused on the cultural fit between myself and rackspace. Multiple people sat in on each hour long block. This is good and bad, as you get to meet a higher number of rackspace employees to ask questions of; but you don't really get a chance to go deep with anyone. It seemed a rather shallow end of the pool interview style that focuses much more on how well you will fit into the existing corporate culture.
