Overall, it was a shady process, and I would advise people to stay away from this company. I received an email about an offer that seemed too good to be true. I didn't even apply to them, so not sure how they got my contact information. I was then asked to answer several vague questions about remote work. I was already skeptical at this point, but I entertained it because there was a possibility of making six figures. After submitting the extremely long list of answers, I was then told that I wouldn't immediately be hired on as a full-time employee, and that I would be hourly for my first 3 months. I was told that my home office would be fully funded, I'd get benefits, etc. Of course, I had several questions about this that I asked the recruiter. (My first one was why I was getting an offer without actually having been in an interview.) My email went unanswered for almost 2 days, so I followed up, only to immediately get a bounceback email that the address did not exist (but likely they just blocked my email address). All that said, I'm not sure what's going on with this company, but I would advise hopeful employees to look elsewhere. This company participates in shady bait and switch practices, then blocks your email once you start asking questions.
