J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez REI (Los Angeles, CA) en mars 2017
Entretien
First round is a basic phone screen followed by a group interview in the store the following weekend. The managers will run the group through the history, and ideology of REI. After that you'll run through several improvisational situations/skits where you rephrase the core ideology into a sales format. It's a bit silly, but probably a good a way as any for management to see if you're compatible with the store.
Group interviews were friendly and well managed. Staff were kind and understanding. Good and thoughtful interview process. I appreciate the relaxed atmosphere at the store and when speaking with the interviewers.
The interview process was simple and over the phone. Then I went in person. She was very nice, but the store manager was a bit off. Ultimately, it just wasn't a good fit.
Submitted resume online then they wanted me to do a really stupid video interview where I answer questions from a prompt and video record myself giving answers. Just schedule a normal interview you idiots.
