Brief 30-minute phone screen to describe the company and position as well as determine if I possess the required skill set. This was followed by an at-home programming assignment. This assignment was emailed to me on a Monday morning and I was given a Thursday 5:00 PM deadline to complete it. Per the instructions, it wasn't supposed to take longer than 3 hours and did not have to be perfect.

Question 1
The assignment was 2 parts. The first was to write a gift giver program -- given a list of extended family members, choose a gift giver for each member. The second was to ensure nobody had the same gift giver more than once every 3 years.
