For my interview I had a meeting with department head, where they asked questions to check I had genuine lab experience followed by a tour of the labs and meeting the team.

Very easy. Initial screening with recruiter. Just one call with the hiring manager. Online “Teams” interview. No on-site visit or presentation ask. Whole process from application to acceptance took 2+ months!! Onboarding is a mess though!
