Traditional 2-interview process (back-to-back 30 minute interviews ran by different sets of people) accompanied by several work-applicable exercises. For example, as business developer I was asked what my strategies might be for expanding our target market beyond their TM at the time.

Negative experience. Asked me to go in person to their office for the second interview, after which I was completely ghosted. It’s extremely rude to ask someone to spend both time and money to go into the office, and not have the decency to even send a “thanks but no thanks” email back. This came off as extremely entitled and likely says a lot about their culture. I bet the cultish comments are accurate.
