I was initially contacted by an internal recruiter from Quizlet via email (I believe they may have pulled it from LinkedIn). The email had a tone of excitement and friendliness which immediately made me interested in learning more. After that, I had a quick phone screen with that recruiter to learn more about the position and tell a little about myself. From there, I had two technical phone screens via video call - one backend focused and one frontend focused. They lasted ~hr and flowed well as the Quizlet interviewers were happy to provide support and helped fix some syntax errors that were preventing code from running. All in all, the technical screens were some of the most friendly and collaborative technical screens I have done in an interview process.
From there, I was invited on-site to San Francisco (I was applying for a position based in Denver) for a day of 1 on 1 interviews. They ranged from technical to product to culture fit. I flew back to to Denver and then within a couple days I had a verbal offer and just another couple days till an official offer letter.
Best interview process I've been through at this point in my career by far. Everyone I talked to at Quizlet made an effort to give me all the details I would need to succeed in the interview process. Three thumbs up!
