I was contacted by the recruiter for this position and ended the call with a really negative view of the company. The recruiter asked for my salary requirements. I asked for the salary range for the position. He said there wasn’t one. The company doesn’t have to provide that proprietary info. Employees shouldn’t discuss salary, but I shouldn’t be surprised if two people with the same job title/responsibilities have different salaries bc they pay based on locality. He pushed me to provide a salary I would accept, stating if I gave a number too low they wouldn’t underpay me, but if I asked for $120k, “that ain’t gonna happen.” Ultimately, I decided to withdraw my application. It is surprising they have someone like this working for them.
