There are three steps in the interview process: a phone call, a technical coding assessment, and a final interview. The phone call typically lasts around 20 to 30 minutes. The assessment with Scala is scheduled for 7 days from now.

I received an email and had a call with Sumayyah, who was my point of contact throughout the whole process. During the call we talked about my experience and why I applied for the position and I got to learn more about the company and the program. That same day I received a coding challenge which was to be done on Scala, which you are not expected to have any prior experience with. I got a week to submit the challenge and Sumayyah was flexible and offered me more time if needed. A few days after I submitted the coding challenge I got an email that I have made it to the final interview. The final interview was a couple weeks later. I had to create a presentation on a technical project I had worked on prior to the interview. The interview was two hours long where we reviewed my resume, I presented my project and answered questions, then went over my coding challenge and finally answer a business case study. There was then time for any questions I had. My interviewers were super nice and welcoming. My point of contact, Sumayyah, was also awesome and answered any questions that I had during the whole interview process. Once I got the offer, Sumayyah assured me that the program was a great fit for me and instilled confidence in me.

The interview process was seamless. I have never had such a positive and great interview process! Sumayyah communicated everything to me effectively and made the interview process easy to understand. I can only imagine the high volume of applicants the company have and still I was made to feel important and valued throughout the whole process even before the outcome was given. A 3 stage interview felt daunting at first but really it actually was the best experience I have had interviewing for a role. At each stage feedback was given and again it was clear to understand and thorough. It’s like no other experience!
