First, I had a 30-minute phone interview with the basic questions (tell me about yourself, why qualtrics, why utah, what do you know about qualtrics, walk me through your resume, GPA, SAT/ACT scores)... I was asked to give a elevator pitch at the end. At the end of the phone interview, I was told I would be moved on to second round video interview (I'm not from Utah). Was told it would be ~30 minutes.
The video interview was 3 days later, and it was 2:1 with the direct supervisors for the position. It basically consisted questions about your resume and they picked specific things and asked you to explain them in detail. Have lots of questions for them!!!! After that, I moved on to another video interview. They were back to back and I wasn't expecting this. This one was 1:1 with head of department. Might get kind of repetitive with back to back interviews, but it's okay to answer questions in a similar way. Asked what concerns I had about the company, then he asked what concerns the company might have about me. He then gave me criticism to see how I handled it. Have questions for second interviewer too. Was told they would get back to me about next steps at the end. They meet/discuss on Fridays I was told (I interviewed on a Thursday).
Received a email from the recruiter 10 minutes later asking to complete a virtual interview. This is basically a timed interview that you complete online and you are given a prompt, a minute to review the question being asked, and you talk into your webcam to answer the question in a minute. They send it out to multiple people in the company. It was about 20 questions. These questions were ridiculous. You can tell Qualtrics puts a lot of focus on recruiting the smartest individuals because a majority of the questions were IQ related (ex. your company is trying to recruit individuals with the highest IQ, but you can't give them IQ tests, how do you do it?; Think of 4 people you work with and yourself, rank these 5 people in IQ). Some of the questions on the virtual interview were basic (ex. gpa, what school did you go to, what scholarships did you receive)
Wasn't given an offer. Wasn't contacted either until I sent an email 2 weeks later. Recruiter immediately called me and said they had sent me an email (they didn't) and they were moving on with other candidates. No feedback given. Very involved interview, but wouldn't change it- I learned a lot and was basically asked any question I could ever expect in an entry-level interview.
