Interview consists of 4 rounds:
1) Telephonic with Recruitment Business Partner from Singapore
2) WebEx with Global Support Operations Consultant & Interim Support Delivery Manager-APAC from Sweden and Customer Support Analyst from Bangalore
3) Onsite F2F with Support Delivery Manager and Technical Support Specialist, Bangalore
4) Final WebEx with 3 Customer Support Analysts (1 from Bangalore and 2 from Sydney)
I cleared all the rounds and they asked me to submit my 3 months payslips from current employer along with 2 references which I did. They still turned me down stating I was over qualified for the role and my current remuneration was above their allocated budget. It was a sheer waste of time and energy. Had I invested the same time with another company may be I would have walked out with an offer. Thankfully, I still have a job in hand and I can explore other opportunities if not I would be left stranded.
Piece of advice: Set your expectations right at the initial stages to avoid such recurrences.
