I applied for a position at the company and experienced several concerning issues during the interview process. The initial outreach from the manager lacked proper introduction or job details, making it difficult to identify the position or who was contacting me. When I asked for clarification, the response was defensive.
A coordinator later reached out to schedule a call using another employee’s ATS account, which raised concerns about professionalism and legitimacy. After confirming the company was legitimate, I proceeded with the call.
During the call, I was told I would receive follow-up within one to two business days regarding next steps. I received no further communication. I also discovered that multiple emails I sent following the call, seeking clarification and next steps, were deleted without being read. This added to the sense of disorganization and lack of professionalism in the process.
What I do not understand is why the company initiated an interview process, insisted on moving forward, and then deleted my follow-up emails without reading them, wasting my time. The process felt disorganized and dysfunctional, raising serious concerns about the company’s approach to candidates.
