Tried reaching out a few times but couldn't get things lined up for the interview to be conducted. I did not receive an email after my initial application or after reaching out again.

The interview process was aggravating, and very disorganized. I received a text message from one of their recruiters, asking to arrange a phone interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager seemed to be under the impression that the recruiter did an initial phone screen, which didn’t occur. We had a nice interview, and a week later, another recruiter reached out to set up a video interview with other members of the team. I spent a few weeks back and forth with this recruiter trying to schedule that interview. He kept saying “ok let’s schedule an interview for this date and this time” and never confirmed them, and would tell me the day after that he couldn’t confirm the interview and we’d have to reschedule. This back and forth dialogue went on for about 2-3 weeks until I finally got the date confirmed. I completed that video interview with various members of the team, and sent out appropriate thank you emails and such, and waited for a few weeks to hear back. I texted/called the recruiter 2 weeks later to follow up and see if a decision had been reached, and got no response. I assumed they went with someone else for the role, but I’m very annoyed that I never even received so much as a rejection letter after a few rounds of interviews. The recruitment process as a whole was completely unprofessional, and I will never consider pursuing a role with Purple in the future.
