Met with the PI and graduate students for some questions about research interests and to ask about current research knowledge. Wanted to explain their research focus and know my current level of understanding.

It was easy. There were behavioral questions and nothing out of the ordinary. As long as you were respectful and knew how to communicate your strengths and have a good personality, you will be fine.

Why do you want to join the research group and what interests you here?
Pretty Straightforward. The professor asked me questions about my resume and previous projects. Then, questions about leadership experience and previous research. Finally, drove me through a sample project task and asked my ideas on the implementations. Very polite and good interaction. Lasted for about an hour.
