The interview process is very different than any any other company I have ever gone through. The interview process is very different than any other company I have ever gone through. They used to star method and it’s very crucial that you stick by it. If you do not study and use the star method when answering your questions, you will not be hired. First you apply for the job and you have to do an assessment that takes about 45 minutes. After the assessment you have to do an interview that is recorded with 8 questions using the star method. If you pass this you then have to do a live interview. For a trainee position, you have to go through a lot of hoops to get this job not really worth it. If you ask me not to mention the pay with progressive is much less than any other insurance company out there for the same job.

I applied and was sent an email to complete a 30 minute assessment that must be completed within 6 days. I completed the assessment about 2 hours after receiving the email. Within about 30 minutes of completing the assessment I received an email stating I was selected for a short video interview as soon as possible and submissions are reviewed in the order in which they are received. This is how far I am in the process so far.

In the assessment they asked more likely style type of questions and behavioral questions. Some parts of the assessment are timed.

I have not completed the process yet but, first was an online assessment, then if you 'pass' you are moved on to a HireVue video interview which takes about 30 minutes with 8 questions.

Met the minimum requirements, then I got a link to the four part assessment. Once I passed the assessment, almost right away I got an invite to a HireVue interview. Finally, I got to interview with real people.
