So, I told myself that if I got the job I would post my experience and some tips on here since I probably wouldn't have gotten the job if it wasn't for the people on here.
Step 1: I submitted my application on 11/08/2021
Step 2: I received an email to take the assessment on
11/09/ 2021. The assessment was fairly easy but you definitely have to be paying attention, and give yourself plenty of time to take it. The assessment starts with pretty basic math questions, then you do into questions like "I am a very hard worker, except sometimes when I get burnt out". I feel like the questions are meant to trick you, but if you just stop for a second and think, you can get them. after that, you go into a pretty fast-paced call simulation. Just make sure you listen to the instructions carefully in the bigging, it is a lot of info so I kind of zoned out for a minute or so, and as a result, i didn't do so great on the first round of calls.
Step 3: I received an invitation for the recorded interview on 11/11/2021. THIS IS WHERE YOU HAVE TO STUDY! there will be 8 behavioral questions that you HAVE to answer in STAR format. Your story needs a beginning, middle, and end. Watch ALL of the MaMadeline Mann "Self Made Millennial" videos about the STAR questions and just interview questions in general. HERE IS A TIP, when you're doing your interview over the video, you may feel as though you're being smiley and upbeat but for whatever reason, the video takes off like 10 levels of excitement off so my advice is to be like, over the top. Hand gestures when appropriate, smile constantly, even when it doesnt feel natural, speak loudly and BE EXCITED! YOU WANT THIS JOB! They give you 6 days to practice so i took about 4 or 5. I didn't want to do it on the 6th day and something go wrong.
Step 4: I received an email to schedule my last interview with a live person on 11/17/2021. I had about 5 days to study. This time in addition to studying for 5 more behavioral questions I also studied the company. This is so important! At the beginning of the interview, she/he will ask you a little about yourself, then they will go into scheduling, what your schedule will be, the pay rate, the start date. Then they will ask you 5 behavioral questions. After that, they will give you an opportunity to ask them questions. DO IT! think of 4-5 real questions that you are curious about. Aside from the behavioral questions which have to be in STAR format, try to make the interview into a conversation, be relaxed but professional, be excited but polite and listen.
11/23/2021 I received my phone call with my offer! shortly after the call, he sent me the offer letter and the background check info to my email. I did the background check on 11/24/2021 and i haven't heard back yet but don't expect to till Monday because of the holidays.
Oh yea, and he told me that this was a work-from-home position, so they will be shipping me a computer, keyboard, and mouse. I'm not sure how long the work from home thing will last, I've never worked from home so I'm a little nervous/excited (lol)
Hope this helps!!
