Even though I went through all the above steps, they selected another applicant due to budget reasons. As you may understand, this decision is difficult to make sense of, especially considering I clearly communicated my desired salary from the very beginning. If my expectations were beyond their budget, I could have been informed earlier. I dedicated many hours—on weekends and after work—to complete the process, yet the overall management felt disorganized. Moreover, when they offered a salary €200 lower than requested, they attempted to justify it by suggesting that, since I live close to the company’s office, I should be willing to accept a lower salary. Overall, the experience was disappointing and left the impression of a lack of transparency and professionalism throughout the recruitment process
