2 interview rounds with 2 people each time (first co-workers then management). CAR answer style for behavioral and situational questions. Everyone was nice and seemed interested on what I was saying.

      Entretien

Procter & Gamble started their university campus recruitment by hosting information sessions both in formal and informal settings. Examples of such settings would be a lecture type session and another session held at a local pub/eatery. From which, they answered a lot of questions about their values, corporate identity, what it's like to work for Procter & Gamble, the various responsibilities, and what kind of positions they are hiring for. They also handed out and displayed their vast product line at these information sessions. (NOTE: These sessions were held in late September/early October). Approximately a month after the information sessions, the application process closed. The application process required a cover letter, resume, and online behaviour/reasoning test. Another note, P&G's hiring process is transparently explained on the careers portion of their website (even includes sample questions to the behaviour/reasoning test). After the application process closed, applicants where contacted about whether they made it to the next stage of the hiring process. The next step involved writing an in-person behaviour/reasoning test. This test lasted an hour and had lots of questions very similar to what was done online. However, there was an added section that involved mental math skills. I personally did not finish test due to the time constraint but was still called for an interview. The interview was held in November and was an in-person interview at the career services office for the university. The interview was scheduled for an hour where they held they called a behaviour based interview. They ask for experiences, moments, and times where I accomplished certain things. They looked for an answer in the "CAR" format. For those unfamiliar to the CAR format, it stands for Context Action Result and lots of those style of questions are found online in order to give you an idea. The interviewer was very friendly and was also accompanied with another person who wrote down my response in order to ensure everything they were looking was documented. The "scribe" was also very friendly and was engaged in the conversation. Upon completion, they gave me time to ask any questions I had and this led to a 10 or so minute discussion about various topics that I wanted clarification with. They indicated that they would contact me back within a few weeks about whether I would go to the next round of interviews. I was fortunately contacted and asked to arrange a time that would allow me to come down to the facility that I would potential work at. This process normally happens in December but due to some unforeseen issues, they had to push this till January. In January, I was brought down to the location, taken out to dinner, and stayed at a local hotel so that I could attend a plant visit the next day. The dinner was formal and one-on-one with the same interviewer from the first interview. Discussion surrounded P&G as a company, the responsibilities that are specific to the plant, and some main attractions of the area surrounding the plant. The plant tour started off with breakfast, leading to an in depth tour of the technology platform found at the plant. Another behaviour based (CAR) interview was held with 2 other P&G employee's who held senior positions at the plant. Lunch proceeded with my first interviewer and another employee who was hired as Technical Manager the year before. After lunch, an HR rep discussed benefits and compensation with me for about half and hour. At the end of the day, the plant manager debriefed me and asked about how I felt about this opportunity at P&G. Discussions with the plant manager wrapped up after a half-hour. Then my original interviewer drove me back to the train station.
