Applied beginning of December, interview request only mid January, offering exactly one afternoon (their time) / (late) evening (my time) in February. Eventually had a call on relatively short notice on a Saturday evening. I declined the second interview request because the position was fully on site, no options for fully remote working.

Question 1
Only very general questions from an HR person (visa requirement, salary expectation, experience), passing on notes to the hiring manager.

Question 1
Over the phone, many questions about my current research and general research interests. My guess is they were evaluating my general ability to understand applied math research.
The blackboard interview consisted of a standard LeetCode kind of question with follow-up questions regarding the difference between threads and processes, as well as ways to accelerate the problem I solved on the blackboard.
