J'ai postulé via une agence de recrutement. J'ai passé un entretien chez Primera Engineers (Chicago, IL) en oct. 2023
Entretien
Absolutely terrible. I was judged on my clothing. I was wearing a polo long sleeve shirt. The interviewer, expected a polo. I've interviewed for over 12 years and never ONCE on camera been docked for wearing what I wore. In person, sure. But not never on a Zoom with the first interviewer. She also didn't listen to me. I was let go due to RIFs from my company in Feb. and I interviewed/applied every day to the point of burning out. I even started my own company. I was getting the married months later and that's all she heard. About 2 months before our wedding, I paused to focus on final details with my wife, went on our honeymoon and then said I was back and ready to interview. She heard that as I did nothing for 8 months and just now started interviewing. Great listening skills. Lastly, this was for a sourcer and she said she values honesty as 1/4 of their MAIN pillars and they want someone to LOVE sourcing so I replied, "Truthfully, it's like cold calling: anyone who says they love it are lying or a little funny in the head. To the point, I don't LOVE sourcing, but I like it" Apparently that was a fair answer, but overall my interviewer was too past her age to be doing these types of interviews at a tech company, she selectively listened and she failed me after I wanted weeks to speak with her. I wouldn't recommend her to a McDonald's, and I hope you read this.
