Entretien
This was an interview for the new Primark opening in Birmingham
Interviewer was really nice, this was my first ever interview and he made me feel comfortable and relaxed.
This was more of a recruitment day, a room of about 30 candidates watching a presentation about Primark, which one of the questions is about. Then heading into a large room with around 30 interviewers. It’s a 1:1 interview but not private.
Questions are based on core competencies of Primark
Was surprised not to get asked why do you want to work at Primark
Remember eye contact and go ask the interviewer questions, and just relax, once you get last the first few questions you’ll be ‘in the zone’
Haven’t heard back yet, but I thought it went well considering my age and the fact it’s my first interview.

Applied online, got an email within a week inviting me to an interview in two days time. Arrived at the customer service desk and told them I was going for an interview. They took me upstairs to the employee area where I waited for about 15 minutes. I was then called in to the interview, where the questions were really quite basic and what I had expected. I had no retail experience and was applying as a student from the area and she seemed really friendly and genuinely interested in what I was saying.
