I stood outside the building handing out resumes until I got a job. I got interviewed that day and hired on the spot. This is not typical. The real interview was over the next two weeks, during a trial period. I spent half a day listening to other people on calls then was basically tossed a phone and told to smile and dial. Most people quit during this period. If you do well, demonstrate proficiency, a strong work ethic, and start getting applications in, you're then officially offered a position. If you don't, you're not. You then sign in at the front desk as a guest every day until you fund your first deal. This can take months. The mentality here is, I believe, make it a wide door and let people prove themselves if they really want to stay.
