I applied about 10 days ago and was called on a Friday to complete a phone screen. The phone screen asked typical questions that anyone with customer service should be able to speak to. My phone screen was done by an employment service. The screener was kind and professional.
I was told i'd been selected to move on to an in-person interview. When I got to the building, I was greeted by a receptionist and required to have my picture taken and sign a HIPPA acknowledgement. Thought it was a little odd being that I wasn't going to be accessing any proprietary information.
I was called back timely. My interviewer introduced herself. She was professional, but cold. We went through about 5 questions and then I was asked to do a technology assessment. The computer was not set up with the necessary programs in order for me to complete the assessment (which would have been pretty basic technology if you've ever worked a desk job). After that, the interviewer asked if I had questions. When I asked my questions, it became very apparent that this company is not interested in the well-being or happiness of its employees. It is VERY customer- centric, which can spell disaster for employees if it swings too far that way. It just left a bad taste in my mouth.

The interviewing process was the most unprofessional process that I’ve ever experienced.
Filled out application and got a response maybe 2 days later saying that they wanted to move forward with a live interview. Scheduled the live interview. Spent time prepping as one should only for the interviewer not to show up on the scheduled day and time. Very disappointing but i understand things happen. So I reach out to them and reschedule. Luckily this time she shows up but never acknowledges or apologizes for them mishap the week prior. That’s a big red flag for me.
The interview went good. Was instructed to send in speed test results and that a someone would contact in a few days with next steps. I sent in the information they requested and sent a thank you email to my interviewer. No response. Not from the information they asked me to send in or from the thank you email. 2 weeks pass and I didn’t hear anything. No follow up.. nothing. I made a decision then that I would never work for this company. To unorganized and lack of accountability. First impressions are important. I understand that things happen but if you are not following up with potential candidates how are you treating the employees you already have. Disappointing for sure

I went to an hiring fair held at a local hotel near the main campus. It was fast paced, but very efficient. Altogether the whole process was average with good communication.
