I met with the hiring manager for a 30 min video call. Within a week, they scheduled a 2 hr on-site interview with me. For the on-site, I gave a short presentation on my work experience and skills, then had about 3 rounds of small panel interviews. I was also given a lab tour and had a pipette test. The people themselves seemed nice, but there was a strange vibe overall. I don’t know if it was an off day, but all of the interviewers were repeatedly asking me the same basic questions about my work experience — things I had already covered in my presentation. There is a lack of diversity in the company, based on what I saw. They seem very eager to hire.
