I applied via internet job board (externally easy application). I was contacted by a recruiter the next day. She conducted a brief phone interview, it was pretty typical nothing out of the ordinary. I was then invited to their office for a first round interview where I would meet with the Marketing RVP. This guy was a great interviewer. He had no emotion, very attentive, and I won't lie he made me sweat a little, he was just so intimidating. Most of the questions were aimed at gauging how confident you are and if you would be okay with the idea of 100% commission. Luckily I did well enough to move on to the next interview. He sat me in the lobby where I waited for about 10 minutes, before he came back out to meet me. He then started to explain that typically there are 3 - 4 interviews conducted before coming to a decision but because they have a sales training class staring in a few days he wanted to speed things up. He continued on to say that he had already spoken with the Sales RVP and after speaking with him that they were both ready to offer me a position, with the hopes of me starting in 3 days. I accepted the position a couple hours later once I got home.
