The process took over two months. 6 interviews with various people. Met 30% of the company just by interviewing. They have no idea what is going on internally, it's a mess. They have a good facade but don't be tricked. Two interviews were done by two recently been promoted from technical roles. They have no idea how to interview as they've never done it before. One of them sat quiet the whole time.
Employees I've met over the weeks of going in were so excited and was hoping I'd come on board. Then came the kicker, they set you up to fail the final interview. Told me to not take it seriously and that it wasn't technical at all. Turned out to be highly technical and apparently wanted it to be taken seriously as it was a mock scenario. I hope the CEO realizes the COO he hired is destroying the company from the inside out. I would have worked here a year ago but now I'd never. Job description is full of micromanagement such as "show up to work on time," that should be a given. They reward people for going to culture events, they are optional but really not if you want to succeed.
Avoid like the plague unless you enjoy micromanagement and dysfunction.
