Received email request to schedule interview to speak about position with recruiter. I selected a time on their calendar and sent a follow-up "Thank you, look forward to speaking soon". Recruiter emailed back on a Sunday and said they looked forward to it as well. Fast forward to morning of interview and receive the following: "Thank you for your interest in Pluralsight! I must apologize, for I have made a grave error. After further review, I have learned that when sending out call invitations, my system was filtered incorrectly and I sent out invitations to ALL candidates. I pride myself in creating positive candidate experiences because Pluralsight is such an amazing company that is driven by values and people, but I also want to be transparent that we have decided to move forward with other candidates." Felt both unprofessional and inconsiderate, esp since they had reached out on a weekend to say looking forward to talking.

I had 2 interviews with the company and neither interviewer could answer basic questions about the position. They couldn’t tell me if the position was remote or even basic job duties. They responded with “didn’t you read the job description?”
