The interview was over the phone with who would have been my higher-up. She was super friendly as easy to talk to so I didn't feel nervous. However, at the end of the interview she said I would hear back in a few days and despite my reaching out never heard back.

Initial interview with company owner and lead graphic designer went great (on a Tuesday). I took an average design test (Illustrator/Photoshop) the following morning. They emailed me the job offer on Monday with vague details about compensation package. Owner answered 10+ questions over the phone the next day and said the salary is negotiable; she wanted me to send her a number. The following day, we began salary negotiations. A week goes by without hearing anything, and so I follow up. She apologized for the delay and notified me that they are no longer hiring for the position.
