Applied through college career website, heard back within a week. Interviewer was friendly, and seemed really enthusiastic about product/company vision. Willing to answer questions, and was encouraging throughout technical interview. Technical questions seemed pretty standard (read through string and output number of times each digit occurs, reverse words in sentence, etc.)

Lots of probing to improve initial algorithm in various ways: better runtime, less memory, possible flaws
Two coding challenges with Karat. One 45min proctored assessment in the language of your choice, one alone with a 4-hour time limit. 3 coding challenges w/ Pinterest Engineers. One Behavioral interview. The total process was around five weeks.
