Received a call from them-they received my resume from a different company that I had applied to previously. I was sort of upset because I felt that my privacy had been violated since I did not give permission to that other company to send my resume to people at Pillar. Had interview the following week. Asked some questions that I had not been asked at other interviews but thought interview went alright. Did tell me the hourly wage which I thought was below average for the industry and for my experience. Did not offer to show me or have someone show me the property or the model.
Was told there would be a second round of interviews with a regional manager the following week. Did not hear from them the following week and called up manager. He gave me some lame excuse that he was "trying to respond back" to everyone. He did not have the professional courtesy to send me a brief rejection notice. I asked if I could get some feedback-said they had a lot of applicants and regional manager based followup on manager's notes-sort of got the impression that his notes of our interview were not positive but he did not divulge specifics. I applied to other positions at the company online-did not get any further interviews.

Interviews are held with a manager and regional/district first and then with the president of the company. It's obvious they want to know what you look like and how you present yourself to the public. Makes sense to a certain extent as you will be the face of the company or apartment building but that doesn't always mean there's brains behind the beauty.
